Chew Treats that last

What does everyone give there doodles for chew treats that last a long time?  Buddy is an agressive chewer and nothing lasts long.  He can go through a bully stick in about 5 minutes. If he doesn"t have something to chew on, he starts looking elsewhere (my furniture, etc.)

ANTLERS!!!!! Allie prefers the antlers that are split down the middle!

our Himalayan Dog Chew lasted about 20 minutes!!! Allie isn't even what I would call an aggressive chewer... But - she does LOVE it!!!!!

We only do the whole ones too. I think Peri would go through a half much faster, but I might give it a try!

The halves don't last nearly as long, and Allie doesn't seem to really be interested in the whole antlers, unless the half is missing! The half usually lasts about 1/2 a month. She's really not a big chewer though, unless it is especially delish like a Bully Stick or the Himalayan chew. She will chew on the antler about 15 minutes per day. Unless it's new - then it's probably about an hour (lol)

Okay - I am going to try them out - even 1/2 month is good. Those are what Santa is bringing Tacky, Peri and their aunt and cousin LOL.

The whole antlers would probably last as long as Allie's whole life!!!!! Allie is buying her 2 doggie cousins Antlers for Christmas too!!!

I got the 1/2 antler and Peri has already eaten out half of the marrow.  She will have this thing done in today at the rate she is going. 

The positive note is that she LOVES IT. IT's like crack for dogs....

lol. When did you get it?  I just boiled Allie's in chicken broth and she ate about 1/3 of it that day.  I have to do those things to keep her interested because she isn't a big chewer at all!!!!

Our Buddy LOVES his antler!!! We bought him a large one and it has lasted for MONTHS!!! Actually it was a JUMBO size. I attached a link where we got ours. Different dogs do better with different chew objects, and they also all have their own likes and dislikes. Some popular choices are marrow bones (lots of discussions on those), antlers, (ditto), Himalayan Chews, Beef tracheas, Beef tendons, Bully sticks, knuckle bones, stuffed Kongs, and the list goes on.
