Poodle or Doodle? Update!!

I found this little dog on PetFinder at a shelter near where I live.  She is listed as a poodle but the hair on her head is straight and her overall look really reminds me of Tara.

Little Peaches has found her hopefully furever home. Unfortunately, it is not with my neighbors:(. They were really interested in her but..you snooze you lose...

Actually, I just looked at the shelter's website, and this is a no-kill not-for-profit, so I'm surprised they don't do a better job with the descriptions. Maybe the dog just came in and they haven't had time to get to know her or do more of a write-up. Petfinder kind of makes you jump through hoops to post or update those listings, it's not a simple process.

If it's that time consuming they may choose to spend the time with the animals instead of the computer! Maybe they are counting on people calling if they are seriously interested.

You do know this is how we ended up with Clancy don't you?????  We posted and tried to find a home for him once we saw him at the shelter, but we ended up with him instead - THANK GOODNESS

This could easily be a purebred poodle.  Many of the Minis and Toys have notoriously soft coats.  Given the length of muzzle, I would seriously doubt Cockapoo.

Update on Peaches:

 

I'm happy to report that little Peaches was adopted!! Unfortunately, someone got there before my neighbors so she will not be living next door to me :(.  Hopefully she has found her furever home!!

All the shelter knew was "poodle" but as you can see the opinions were mixed here on DK!!
