I agree with many of the items in this article such as exposure to pesticides. However, I don't agree with the idea that pets need added greens and homeopathic preparations to detoxify them. I think you need to be cautious when reading articles extolling products that happen to be sold on the site.

I think that detoxifying is an individual thing with dogs as it is with people. It depends on the constitution of the animal and the degree of exposure. I had a dog once who later in life developed minor seizures.  They continued until I detoxified him with homeopathic remedies.

Of course there is no way to know whether they might have stopped on their own just as they started.

I can only relate my experience. The seizures  began immediately after he had surgery on one of his eyes.  They continued to occur daily  for over a year.  I finally consulted with a holistic vet who formulated a homepathic remedy combination specifically for him. The primary  action of the remedy was detoxifying heavy metals and certain chemicals.  Sorry, but it was too long ago for me to remember specifically what they were (CRS :( )

Over several months of taking this remedy he showed steady improvement and the seizures resolved. He showed no improvement the entire year prior to taking the remedy.  That was my experience.

I understand but as a science trained person I just want to point out to others that this is not necessarily a causal relationship and it is one instance. Of course, the good news was the seizures stopped.

But at least we can rule out the placebo effect!! LOL!
