While I realize dog food is the best for him...Stanley really loves a Popsicle. I hold the stick for him and he eats it in about 10 seconds. He loves the purple ones best of all!
Not sure if it is unusual...but my dogs LOVE ice cubes. We laugh because our Mocha has always LOVED them, we got our new puppy Ozzie about a month ago and Mocha has taught him now too. When the ice cube maker gets going these two run out of control into the kitchen and often slide across the floor. We love it and they are so cute. Ozzie likes Mocha to break his up for him. She doesn't mind.
I wish Kachi would eat carrots!! He just shreds them, so that there is a big pile of orange shavings(definitely an outside treat). But he loves apples, green beans -canned(he doesn't like fresh) (I get the no salt kind) & frozen peas. He also loves peanut butter & cottage cheese. And good luck to anybody who is around with a bag of Cinnamon Twists from Taco Bell, as he has taken a definite liking to them ever since he discovered a half eaten bag of them on the kitchen counter!
Scrappy will do tricks for WELCH's fruit snacks...all my son has to say is "Fruit Snacks" and she's there. Grover really seemed crazy for frozen Eggo waffles this week. I was cleaning out my freezer one fell out of the package. He loved it and it took him a while to eat it,which was a good thing. They also enjoy popsicles, graham crackers, apple slices and licking up the last of the yogurt from the container.
Grover! What a great doodle name! Stanley also loves fruit snacks and is always very interested in my yogurt. I make doggie ice cream for him with it plus mashed bananas, peanut butter, and honey. He loves it.
Actually, my dood loves cantaloupe--although I bet he would also dig some antelope. He got his up on the table this morning and risked life and limb for some watermelon chunks my son had left there.
Olive loves fruits and veggies and she'll do anything for a peice of fuji apple or string cheese. Strawberries, watermelon, pineapple, carrots... She does NOT like broccoli though.
