When my kids were little I was one of THOSE Mom's who picked up the phone to call the Dr for every little thing.....sigh.....what can I say...they were my babies!!!
Banjo is just not himself today. In a very subtle way though. He isn't his usual playful, nutty self. He's kind of quiet, laid back and low energy....with a runny nose...and outside in the cold air he keeps making funny "huff's" through his nose sounds. Like he's snorting out air. That's it. He seems to be eating and drinking normally and eliminating just fine. I can't tell if he has a temp or not......how do you know???
Soooooo.....instead of rushing to the vet's, I called just see if the office will be open tomorrow (Banjo's Birthday!!!!! WOO HOO!!!). They will be in the office til 3....so I guess we'll see how the little guy is feeling tomorrow. I do worry!!! Isn't it always right before a weekend or holiday that they get sick??? Fingers are crossed that we won't have to make a visit to the vet's office!

This is the camera I got a few weeks ago, also! I bought it from a camera shop and I get a "Free" 2 hour digital SLR basics lesson. I just got my 1TB backup drive this weekend, and more memory for my laptop for Christmas (wow...what a difference already). My DH got me the book "Real World Digital Photography" (third edition) for a Christmas present. It is pretty intimidating...can get a bit technical, but I know that I will better understand photography once I am done!
Hoping for some nice "solid waste" today from Banjo!!!!
Hi Carol...I'm just catching back up and hope that Banjo is feeling better! I'm a total worrywart - I go to the doctor for everything and the vet gets at least a call with my every random worry (we have a weird family history where the most outlandish thing that can happen usually does). My vet's rule of thumb has also always been that if Callie is eating, drinking, and eliminating normally, then wait a day or two and gauge her behavior. That said she is also very firm on the fact that I know Callie better than anyone, and behavior can be a the best indicator of something going on. I've gotten better about not running her to the vet when she seems "depressed" and letting her have a down day if she needs one. It's REALLY hard though!!
Hope Banjo is feeling fit and fine very soon!!!
Shea my min poo gets reverse sneezing. When I first heard her do it, I freaked out. DH said she gets that from time to time. Sometimes its when she eats "hot" foods like tabasco.... or if she drinks to fast, etc,. things like that....I hope that is the only reason hes doing that and not because he has worms or something.....
