are there any upcoming romps in the Pacific NW?

From what I've heard they're pretty much over for the year...until it starts warming up again next year.

I would love to go to a romp when I get puppy...but I would want to make sure his shots are completed...which will go into the November/December timeframe, which then its really getting cold around here....so I'm not the best of help to get one going in this area.

The meetups at Magnussen Park are alot of fun! With the expected beautiful weather this weekend I bet alot of dogs will be out there. Mayzie and I will be on a backpacking adventure or we would be there.

If anyone is interested in meeting in the South Beacon Hill area...perhaps the westcrest dog park...let me know!

Did you hear that they are working on a new dog park on Mercer Island at Luther Burbank? THey've closed off the old park with water access and have a temporary soft fenced area. I've hear that the new park will open mid November and I believe it will have even more accesses to the water, be larger, have a double entry gate and a four foot fence.

Also, there is someplace near Robinswood Park that has a poodle romp each Saturday. I have been invited by many to attend but I always forget the name. I believe it's somewhere within a few blocks and is at a school?

Yes, the offleash area at Luther Burbank is being re-done. You can see the plans here:

There are several other spots on the east side where your dogs can run and swim, most of which are not official dog offleash places. Email me if you'd like some tips.
