Straight Haired Goldendoodle???

Hello my goldendoodle puppy has VERY straight hair. She looks almost exactly like a golden retriever but her nose is a little bit pointier. She was shedding a lot between 12-16 weeks and now at 16 weeks she has slowed with the shedding but is teething like crazy. I am not sure if she is really a golden doodle? Did anyone ever have a golden doodle who looked like her and shed so much?

Our Goldendoodle Coco had a fairly straight coat as a puppy and it began to change at about 4 months.  Now she has a more poodle like look to her coat.  Your little one may just not have lost her puppy coat yet. I have noticed that there is quite a bit of variation in coats among doodles. She is beautiful either way.

Hi!  My goldendoodle looks just like a golden retriever also!! but you can tell that she is definitely mixed with poodle also, but she's not very curly....my goldendoodle looks so much like yours and is now shedding like crazy!!

My neighbor has a first gen goldendoodle & he looks exactly like a miniature yellow lab.  He's very blond & has very little curl to his fur, so they're out there.  He's a cutie pie & he & our Snickers are two weeks apart in age & best buds.
