Seriously everyone I know it's seems impossible but Charles Shaw Wines are really good and really cheap. They are sold in Trader Joe's here in OH. He has whites and reds. This is a picture of the display in Trader Joe's I found on the web. We love the Shiraz the best. Look it up! They no longer sell for $1.99, more like $3.50 (I know what your thinking - $2 wine, yuck). I gave in and tried it and love it now.

I've always heard about $2 Buck Chuck, but never tried it.  I may have to give this a try....it's not sweet is it?

None of the reds are sweet Jane, and for the whites I like the Pinot Grigio.  We love to drink it and cook with it.  It is 2.99 here in the Vegas area.

2 Buck Chuck is very good.....I stock up whenever we get to a Trader Joe's  -  which unfortunately is rare as it's over an hour away : (
$2 Buck Chuck is great! I sometimes wonder how I ever afforded to entertain before we got a Trader Joe's in town!
My DH likes $2 Buck Chuck - normally we cook with it.  For cheap wine you can't beat it :-)
Jane it is not sweet - I really don't care for sweet wine.

I remember reading something a long time ago that it was only ever sold for $2 in CA, there was some tax or legal reason it couldn't be sold in other states for $2, so usually it was $3

But yes it is a decent very inexpensive wine.

Tennessee still won't allow wine in grocery stores.  Alas, our Trader J's has no $2 Chuck!  My dad goes to Indy every month and brings a case of another wine back for my mom.  I think it's more like $4-5/bottle and we like it better than old chuck :)
Yep "2 Buck Chuck" is in our Trader Joes.  DH likes the cab and I like the shiraz.
I ended up with a CASE of $2 Buck Chuck Pinot Noir for our Yankee Swap at this year's Christmas party!  We bring a bottle to every gathering we go to lately.  Not my favorite, but not bad for the price!!! ;o)
