Newbie-Favorite treat for 11 weeks old puppy and how to make her warm up to us?

Just pick up a new 11 weeks old goldendoodle from airport last nite.  She is very insecure and shy right now.  She want to stay in her crate most of the times and not even want to go outside to her business.  I have tried a few different treats but she not really going crazy for any of it.  What can I do to encourage her and make her do her business outside,  Any tips?

Thanks in advance.

That's wonderful news. She sounds like a really lovable puppy and is really doing her very best.  Keep us all updated on her progress and send some photo's too when you can.

Give her time and plenty of peanutbutter.

She will open up definitely!  Give it time.

My tidbit of advice: don't take her out of the crate. If she is in it, it is because she feels safe there.  Let that be her safe place.  Some puppies HATE their crates, so you are lucky.  Both of my dogs treat their crates as a "safe haven" in my opinion. They go in there if they get scared (the chihuahua especially - from storms), to rest, etc...

Keep us posted - she is adorable and will end up being a wonderful dog, I am sure of it!!!!  I have a mini too, Peri is 25 pounds at almost 2 years!  Great size!!!!
