I am in the very early stages of convincing DH that Hunter NEEDS a sibling to grow up with. I have actually got him to the point where he said he would want another female (long story as to why but whatever I am fine with that). What I am wondering is what personality differences do you see between the F1's and F1B's, F2B's, etc. etc. Hunter is an F1 which I love and I am kind of thinking "she is perfect why change" then I think "I could have different perfect" - see my dilema?
I thought you would appreciate that!! I really tried so hard for Preston :-( I am thrilled at the progress I have made with him so far. He has actually said that it would have to be from you (like there would be other breeder silly man!!), a girl and smaller and mellow like Hunter. So when we got Hunter he was going for the "Molly" reincarnate - the GR he had growing up that no other dogs ever measured up to. Now its - it would have to be a Hunter reincarnate LOL With the coat comparison I have to say Hunter's coat is sooo easy to maintain but she does shed. I would rather have that then one I have to brush daily.... I am going to keep working on him, when I get a definite I will let you know. It does amaze me that you can tell the difference when they are that little.
Well, Charlotte is the little sister but she'd like to add that brothers are the best! Her big bro Webster treats her like a queen and she, in turn, just adores him. My mom has 2 girls who are great companions but the devotion that I see with my two is really special :-)
