Blizzard of 2011

Ok, I ventured out this morning and took a couple of pictures and had DH take one of me.  Still snowing a bit here.  Enjoy!  :)

Here is the backyard with Buddy.  Thankfully the snow only really drifted to one side.  Of course Buddy had to be in it!

Oh no. Well at least it's standing. One of my neighbors keeps having hers knocked over. Mine is protected by a small mountain of snow at the moment. Ain't winter grand?

It is a jpeg with background color same as DK background color done in Photoshop Elements.

Winter is grand at times.  The doodles love playing in the snow and ice.  Also it meant a day off of work since the storm shut down work.  Photo of Sheba out in snow earlier today.

Well, it took us 3 and a half hours to clear the drive and walk to our front door.  THen we did venture out to get something to eat as a treat!  So grateful to the person that invented the snowblower!  Here are a few more shots.

 

Opened up the garage door!

 

Partway done with driveway...snow up to my mid thigh! (I'm 5' 6")

 

 

Buddy looking outside...was able to make a path from the front door!

Wow you did get a lot of snow.  In Lima, Ohio we got mostly a sleet like snow and not near as much accumulation.  We have a 2 to 3 inch layer of ice on the drive way.  I think I would rather of got all the snow you did instead of the ice that we got.
