I'll go first. Trevor started to get in a bad habit of scratching at the door when he wanted to go in or out. I know alot of people use bells at the door but I figured he would still strach up my door while trying to ring the bells. So I found a dog door-bell.
It didnt take long for me to train him to use the bell and it's so cute to see him use his door-bell. No more scratching at my door!

I just got the Poochie bells also... so far Ozzie is doing pretty well with them, but it seems he only rings them when I'm "near" the bells. He'll learn though.... Mocha just lets Ozzie do it for her!! LOL!
Where do you get these Poochie bells. I had a problem with bells when i was training Fergie. She thought those were such a fun game. She rang them every 3 minutes - whether she had to go or not. One time my husband was sleeping in his chair and she tore them down and took them to him to get his attention. It was so-so cute. That sold my hubby on this dog. Now the trick is for her to sell him on a friend.
Oh that is too cool!!
Those look great. Murphy uses a regular bell. He's 2 now and he mostly just gets right in my face with an intent look. I ask if he needs to go out and he does a "happy dance', but like Ann's Poodle, looks back over his shoulder to make sure I'm moving.

Sometimes, when I am not paying attention, he rings the bell, and waits a little bit. If no one responds, he sticks his head in the room like " I RANG the bell. Where are you?"

I have a bell on the front and back door. If he wants to go play or just go, he rings the front door bell!
Ok, here is another product. Not necessarily "cool", but very useful. The Big Dog water fountain.
I love thing because I only have to fill up his water about once a week. However, I hate to clean this thing. It has lots of nooks and crannies that are hard to clean. You also have to buy filters but I think it is still worth it. And yes, he drips water all over my floor, but he does that with a regular bowl too.
