Insanity or Love Sick, you decide please!!!

I am not sure if I am totally insane or if I am just madly in love, you decide.

Jack's second birthday is on March 6th. I am giving him a full blown birthday parties with invitations, dog and human cake. I have dog and human goodie bags and games for the human children coming as well as the furry children coming.

Who ever would have known that the Dollar Tree caters to umm love sick or insane people. The status is yet to be determined. They actually have a dog birthday party set, you know with streamers, hats, goodie bags, and treats for the goodie bags. Yes, I got it. Jack also got a singing birthday candle.

The dogs are all getting new leashes, bones (not from the dollar store) as well as a chew toy. They will be served doggie cake, cookies and peanut butter ice cream. Then they will have an hour of a romp play time.

THe kids coming will have games to play that involve the dog that they own.

 

We are not accepting gifts for Jack, as he has every toy ever made so I am having the people bring a decent cat or dog food to donate to the animal shelter in Jacks name!!!

 

I was so excited, then I got home and started thinking, Have I totally lost my mind or am I totally in love, or both?????

Cocoa and Achilles are both invited, and so are their mom's. They will each get a snoopy leash, either red or blue. Lots of treats, cookies, cake, games, balls and a whole hour to romp around., Come on to SC, the weather is great here!!!

Suzann, Thanks for making me feel like it is perfectly normal.. Jack is my only "child" and well if I could have rented a pony for him I would have. THough I think he would prefer I rent a cat....

 

I wish you guys could all come, I will take a ton of pictures of the adorable doggie party gear and all the kids and dogs playing...

 

Hmm, I guess the cat lovers could get mad about the rent a cat comment. Jack wants to do no harm, he just wants to play and chase them and smell their butts....

Thanks, I really like the idea of a decent food being donated to the shelter. I also request people do that for my birthday and Christmas as well.

Ha!  The expression that comes to mind is Hopeless Doodle Addict!!" And you have plenty of  company!!  I'm looking forward to seeing the photos!! It sounds like a fun time for everyone!!

What great fun you are having planning the party and I am sure it will be a real hit with two and four legged creatures.  I also think it is a lovely way to have a 'fund raiser' for your local shelter.

Thank you Nancy, Next year, we will make it even bigger, and add some fund raising in for our local shelters.. I am looking to do a Doodle Romp in this area.. Next year for his Birthday we will do something for other dogs. Jack is spoiled every single day of the year. I don't think it is to much to give to other animals once in a while. I should be doing it way more often then I do!!!
