F1 Coat Changes
Hi Everyone, I thought it would be interesting to show the various coat changes in our F1 Doodles. State the type of Doodle, the age and add the pics. I think it would be fun so see all the differences.

I guess Nala is about 80-85 too. He just seems to be so massive, Esp in the 8 wk picture, next to your DH... maybe it's the fur! I think Nala is shorter though...

Sooooooo cute, are they Goldendoodles? and sisters? How hard is it having two pups the same age for training? I bet it is great for them to have each other to play with all the time. Thanks for the pics.

I was fortunate enough to be able to retire at the first of the year, that's why I was able to get my Sadie. I lost my DH and last dog 7 yrs ago, within a month of each other and I traveled a lot for my job and worked long hours, so I didn't feel it would be fair to a dog to be alone so much. It has made all the difference in the world to be able to spend so much time with her, training and bonding. She is picking up the basic obedience things quickly and next week I'll start taking her to a puppy class so that should be fun.

I can attest to training them seperately! In my classes I would often recommend double-dog parents to come to two separate classes if possible, for at least half of the sessions (4 weeks) until they could get the basics down. Then putting them together forced/helped them learn to focus on training rather than each other. They need to learn independence. They already know how to be mischevious together! ha! Good Luck!
