What dog food do you use and recomend? My breeder said to choose a dog food with more meat and not a lot of fillers. I guess this also will mean less doggie waste as well. She gave me a few to look at: Nutro, California Natural, Canidae, Eukanuba and Science Diet.
So, what do you feed your Doodle?

Orijen is probably the best kibble on the market. Ad far as quality of ingredients. We feed all our dog raw food from a variety of different sources.
If I were to feed kibble food I would defiantly add Nupro supplement.
Science Diet (very similar to Royal Canin, and prescription foods such as Medical) are not good quality - they are better quality than say, Iams, Eukanuba, Pedigree, Cesars etc) but they are full of corn, wheat, cellulose, beet pulp and lower quality meats
If you live in the southeast this is a great company to order dog food supplies from [company name removed due to advertising rules]
Hope this helps

I decided to go with Kirkland (costco) brand, really inexpensive and decent 4 stars rating.
So far so good.
I don't even have the puppy yet! HA He or she is four weeks. I think we selections start next week. Thanks for your help and advice. I am definitely going to go with Orijen but will hold off till the pup is home and seems settled, then I'll start the mixing and transition over.
