Not like Frenchies?

Frenchies as in French bulldogs. Huff does not like French bulldogs or Boston Terriers usually. There are some that he likes but he doesn't like most of them. He will usually growl at them. Today I met another doodle that was so sweet with every other dog but he growled at a french bull dog-english bulldog mix. I don't know what it is. I was wondering, does every doodle have something against these dogs?

Ned does not seem to like Boxers.

Huff likes boxers. He has at least 2 friends that are boxers. Does Ned growl at them? Do you know why he doesn't like them?

Why does she hate huskies? Huff loves german shephards because one of his friends is a german shephard and her owner says that Huff is just about the only dog she likes. She mothers him. Huff tries to play with every german shephard, but most of the time they don't like to play with him:)

haha, I think they are like people... if you know of someone who "did you wrong" in the past, or say you don't like for various reasons... anyone that looks like them you might have a distaste for them. My dad's New Foundland got attacked by a silver pit bull and to this day, whenever that dog see's a silver pit, his hackle's go up and he gets a snarl in his lip. I know I have to hold him and get him out of the area...Dogs have an excellent memory and I do believe they can hold grudges. Who knows?

Oh ya I do believe they have an excellent memory. I don't think anything happened to Huff with Boston Terriers or French Bulldogs though. Maybe it is the way they look with their squished faces haha:)

Nope....my two have a best friend and his name is Bonzai. He is my daughter's French Bulldog. We all think he is an amazing dog.

Oh, Huff would definitely become friends with a french bulldog but he would have to get used to him first. I would take it slow with them though.

Yes, Huff is weirded out by these dogs too much to think about being friends at first but they usually have great personalities:) I am glad you doodles are keeping an open mind. I guess it is just Huff.....
