Yikes! Fudge and Vern just Got Groomed!

Today, Fudge and Vern went for their grooming. Vern's hair is getting unmanageable. He rolls in EVERYTHING. Since Fudge is chocolate it is harder to tell when she is dirty, but since she hangs out with Vern, you know how that goes. I took pictures into the groomer. I told her exactly what I wanted. I wanted to start them getting used to their summer coats and was going for a look that was light and breezy. I was HORRIFIED when I picked them up and obviously, there was a big communication problem. This is what Fudge and Vern look like with their new summer coats. Is it as bad as I think??

F, You know, if you start the rhyming again, Ricki is going to jump in and try and top this one. She is very competitive....LOL. Vern has been called a mop, a sheepdog, and now a goat. It was all worth it, though, for this post. Made me laugh.

I have to admit my pulse rate went up a bit when I saw F's limerick!! My DH has made me swear off them until next year though!! He said if I don't I'll have to attend LWA meetings (Limerick Writers Anonymous!!).

 

I do like the new look on your pups!! Your groomer did an excellent!! One question though: Is English her first language?

Brilliant ,that this is a place where so many of you have such a great sense of humour!  I love a dog in a stylish Summer Coat and I do know a thing or two about fashion!  I'd say these are two stylish Doods LOL ; )
