She's gorgeous! I was actually hoping my Oslo was going to have a dramatic color change like that, but all he got was a silver & blonde mohawk on top of his head! :)

Thanks!! I think so too. She is amazing in her coloring but her heart and soul is incredible. She would have made an incredible mom.

She doesn't look like the same doodle! Her ears as an adult are so coppery gorgeous, her face is so latte and the dark ring around her eyes are just like Samantha's!! OMD - she is just magnificent!

It is amazing how chocolates change color.

Thanks Adrianne we like how she looks a lot. At first we fretted cause we thought we got a chocolate doodle but now we watch her change and love it. She has a little more fur today after 3 weeks of growing in her latest cut.I love how you described her coppery ears cause that is exactly what they are.

She is our Joy!

Hi all, We have a Multi-Gen ALD and he also got much lighter from the time he was a puppy up to now. He is 2 years and 4 months old. He has a white spot on his chest also. His dad was chocolate and his mamma was white. From looking at pictures of his dad, it looks like he lightened up too. I wonder if the color ever stabilizes or if it will continue to change.

Hartley hasn't changed colour too much, although he does bleach in the sun a bit in the summer. Chase has really changed. You can see the pics on the previous discussion I posted - from dark chocolate though a really dramatic change to cafe au lait, although his face is still darker than the rest of him!!
