kibble question

I have a 4 month old mini labradoodle puppy, Paddy. he is a dream, an absolute dream. I have noticed sneezing though and rubbing of his face and eyes...I am concerned that I hvae given him something he could be allergic to. I feed him Oragnix or Blue Buffalo Kibble and Nature's Variety Raw Organic Chicken. The raw has no grains in it, and the Blue Buffalo kibble has grains however no wheat. Any suggestions regarding what this could be from? Too, I give him trats (chicken I cook, and a natural treat by Zukes... I am just worried I may have given him something he is allergic to. Any suggestions?

Could be he is allergic to his food. Is he chewing his feet...........that is a sure sign it is allergies? The best way to tell is to switch his food. Many dogs are allergic to grains, and or chicken. Try a duck and potato kibble..........Innova has one or EVO by Innova, or ask your vet for suggestions.

The other possibility is inhalant allergies, and I sure hope it is not that. My dog Summer has allergies, but luckily they are only seasonal (Fall), because she is absolutely miserable!!!

I agree with Tamara, it is an easy and economic diagnosis to just try pulling him off the food. Hopefully that will do it immediately requiring no further investigation. I would however be more inclined to call upon a consultant who has knowledge of premium foods ~ like at a quality holistic/premium food market. They spend EVERY day listening to the stories and assisting with solutions, while our vets spend but a grain of their studies on nutrition and are usually quick to suggest those that have wooed them with product and financial rewards since college regardless of quality,,,ie. the ~H~ one. Thank you for your help!!! I have been taking grains away and trying to determine if it is wheat (yes, I am preety sure of this) or garins in general. Thanks again!
