second puppy

thank you all for your positive responses to hubby and the second puppy. Now he wants me to ask people - honestly - Is anyone sorry they got the second puppy and if so, why?

Gaston will be our 4th fur-baby in the family! Their ages are 13, 7, 5 and soon Gaston (born 9-11-08).
We've NEVER regretted for a minute any of them! Other than Gaston, each one was a rescue and not "planned" LOL. We've never felt overwhelmed and each one is treated uniquely and we receive such an abundance of love from them and they from us.

Truthfully, the only time it's an issue is during a summer rain storm and we are all piled into our bed together!!!! Now THAT is a sight! LOL

I don't have a second dog...in fact we just barely got our first. But I grew up with dogs, and I can't wait for 9 or 10 months down the road when Brody should pretty much be a well behaved, dependable teen-ager so we can get a second pup. I say as longas you have the room, time, and money...go for it. Just make sure the new pup has a temperment that matches your current dog.
