Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Hi everyone,
Our australian labradoodle, Kylie, arrived on Friday! She is a bundle of love, quite self-assured and full of energy. Here's the problem. We are feeding her exactly what she got at the breeder and she is only eating about half of what she should be. We are also treating her when she goes potty in the right place and with clicker training. I don't think she gets a ton of treats but maybe I am wrong.
Kylie is 10 weeks old and the vet seems to think she is on the skinny side so I am doubly concerned about her lack of eating... Any suggestions?
Thanks a ton!

The other post's are excellent and I hope Kylie is eating better.
We had a very difficult time trying to get Gracie our 14 month old ALD to eat when we got her home and she’s still a picky eater--although I found the silver bullet about two weeks ago and she's finally eating two good meals per day! :)
One thing we did when she was a puppy that really helped was add a small amount of strained chicken baby food to her Wellness puppy food we were feeding her which was recommended by the breeder. Put a little on your finger first, and offer it to Kylie.
Don't feel bad about being a concerned parent. In the early months we would feed Gracie by hand to get her to eat something at least once a day.
Good Luck and enjoy your beautiful puppy.
