I bought my grandson a Wacom Bamboo Craft tablet, and it came with a complimentary "4 issues/1 year subscription" to Scrapbooking & Beyond magazine, and a Cut the Scrap E-mail Newsletter. ($27.96 value.) I was going to toss it in the trash then it occurred to me that one of you might be interested in it. So, if you want it, let me know and I'll put it in an envelope and drop it in the mail to you. :)

I would be interested! I have purchased a scrapbook for Rua, and enough paper and stickers for each holiday and occasion...what I lack now is the creative part. Perhaps that will help. I'll PM you with my address! Thanks, Dori
Hi Dori! Ah, I gave it to Denise and Hunter. She sent me a private message about an hour before you responded saying she would love to have it. Hey, if I come across another one I will definitely send it your way!

I might just have to find a scrapbook group where you attend and bring your stuff and make a page or two.  I need some help creatively.  I wish I had 1/100th of your talent.  I am OK at the technical part of most creative things, but without some creative direction, all of my pages would look exactly alike and rather boring.  I  bought a small scrapbook 8" x 8" knowing that I wouldn't have to do a lot on each page.  I "envisioned" having a page for her welcome home, fall, halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, first snow, Valentines, St. Patrick's day, Easter, Spring, etc., throwing in a few others, bath time, playing with PuffDog, etc.  I have also seen people do amazing stuff with those on-line scrapbooks.  But I already have a "few" dollars invested in scrapbook stuff, so I guess I need to go down that path.  I am at least 12 pages past due right now!  :-)  Perhaps I should start a scrapbooking for doodles group!  LOL

Dori, I love to scrapbook! If you have a place in your area to go to a scrap night or class they are really fun. I look online a lot for inspiration and on YouTube, they have some really neat dog one's out there. I am working on my two daughter's right now, one for soccer and one for gymnastics.
I was actually just this moment checking out whether we had a "Meetup" group in Omaha for Scrapbooking (I am in the Photography group already).  The one they have you pay $30 for the kit to make 6 pages.  Well, I don't need the kit, but probably just using some tools and maybe a few accessories.  This past winter, I noticed a bunch of women carrying/rolling what looked like scrapbook stuff into a neighbors house 3 doors down.  I don't know them, but I think I'll have to go knock on their door and see if there is a group close by.  We do have a "Michael's" craft place that does scrapbook stuff, but I would prefer being over someone's home in a group, so I could get to know some women.  Have fun doing your girl's books!
