The big question is: Are you having your turkey today , or tomorrow ???
We are having ours today, with all the trimmings. And for their supper, the doodles will get a bit of turkey and some gravy. (I make seperate gravy for the doods, I like onions and spices in mine- not for them)
Seeing as this is an international site: Question: our members in other countries, when and how do you celebrate Thanksgiving ? In Canada Thanksgiving Day is Monday, Oct. 13..
Happy Thanksgiving Ann, and ALL the other Canadians:) Ours here in the US is the fourth Thursday in November (so the 27 this year).
We usually go to my Mom's or MIL's house and have Turkey and all the trimmings too. I always make sweet potatos and also pecan pie as my contribution:) Now I'm getting hungry for a big turkey dinner:)
In our family the opening of deer hunting is a big deal, and we all get together and eat a lot then too......that is Nov. 14!!
Happy Thanksgiving to our friends up north. One question though. Does the Canadian Football league have games on your turkey day like the NFL? Just kidding. Have a great day.
Happy Thanksgiving Canada. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday of the year. Our family has so much to be grateful for--including Canadian friends. Blessings.
I am not technically Canadian, but I have family on my side and DH's side there. We had a big family dinner in the states today for DH's family.
I love it because I get 2 Thanksgiving Dinners.
I am taking Cass, my Canadian Border Collie, out for a Thanksgiving cheeseburger today! She'll not even care that our two American doodles aren't getting cheeseburgers. :-)
