Help! I am totally freaking scared. two puppies from Hatties litter have been diagnosed with Parvo Virus. Hattie seems fine-she had a little runny stools yesterday but I think it was the treats I gave her. none today and they are a soft but formed into stools. she isn't eating much but is very playful. Called my vet and he said test is only true after they have diareha or are throwing up. I am so scared!

Hooray for Hattie!  I'm so glad to hear she is continuing to do well.
Oh no! The only thing I could say is to keep her inside your house and limit how much she interacts with the outside world until she's fully vaccinated.
So far so good.....
This is just my opinion.  But I don't think those dogs could have been at the vet for a long enough time to get Parvo.  I would get vet's name and ask THEM for an opinion.  I would also not be mad, but make sure breeder pays all costs if any, associated w/ this.  My very own breeder that I love had an outbreak of parvo asso with the trainer where people had signed up to keep the dogs for four weeks.. The trainer also groomed dogs for a living . . . alas. Parvo.  The breeder called each puppy owner and kept puppies until ALL were in the clear (separated of course) and all paid for by the breeder. You can't believe the extent that good breeders take in keeping these puppies safe when young.  Something doesn't sound right here, just my opinion.  Such a darling.
Great, great, great news!  Did the Vet indicate when you'll know she's in the clear?  I'm also happy to hear the potty training is going better....it seems like she's beginning to understand where she needs to "go".
I gave the treat the second they stopped going.  Do you have her on a leash....that helps.  The problem with her taking off and not giving the treat until you get her attention is that she won't associate the reward with actually going potty outside.  Their span of attention is seconds (especially as pups).  She'll think she's getting rewarded for giving you attention, and that's not a bad thing, but she probably isn't going to relate it to going potty.
I'm happy to read things are going well and all the prayers are helping. Enjoy Hattie! I am still in the waiting for the litter that my puppy will be in June.

Sandy, you can try clicker training. It really works esp if Hattie likes treats. Start out click, treat, click treat until she knows everytime she hears the clicker she gets a treat. Then as soon as she's done pooping click and she'll probably come running for a treat instead of running away.

So glad to hear Hattie is OK.

Not sure what treats you were using but we always use Zukes mini naturals but you could also use kibble. You might introduce them slowly to her so it doesn't upset her stomach. And even thought the Zukes minis are small bits you could even break them into 2 pcs. Max will get an upset stomach if he gets something different to eat so we've learned try to stick to what works for him.

Just remember with clicker training, reward as soon as you click so she'll get the connection.

Good luck. Hattie is so adorable.

I'm so glad to hear that little Hattie is doing well.  Hopefully the waiting time is up and you can move on with no more fear.  Doodles are the best ever...you are a lucky person to have one!!!!  Unconditional love all the way and they become your best friend!  Hugs to little Hattie from Gracie Doodle.
Ha, Ha...so true and I am not even divorced!!!!
Sandy, you are too funny :-)
