Tomorrow is the LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!  Don't get me wrong I Love my DD.  But how many times in a day should someone have to hear MOM?  Mom I'm bored!  Mom I 'm hungry!  Mom Can I...!  Mom where's my...!  Mom can you...!   Mom Mom Mom MOm MOm MOm MOM MOM MOM MOM MOM MOM.......!!!!!!

Lexi has gotten off to a great start this morning with 17 MOM's within 45 minutes before the bus got here.  No one to play with, nothing to do, so and so get' to go...., on and on and on.  Now tell me how special she is, LOL.

I know I'm not the only one so fess up.  Tell me how your child or doodle drives you crazy so I can feel better:))

I did sign her up for swim team, soccer camp and a couple 4H day camps.  Being the only child at home probably makes it harder for her at times.  No one to harass but the dogs and mom.  You're right I need to enjoy while I can.

If it makes you feel any better about the only child thing, for every 20 min of harmonious play that my three similar-aged kids get, they log 40 minutes of bickering with each other and moaning to me about it.

:-)

Alright, the ratio might really be reversed.  It is just that the bad times are so bad lol.
Yes, Yes, Yes, all I can say is YES, lol.
Ha! Callie is my only "child", but my sister (the mom of 9 year old twin boys) will frequently call me and announce that she's changing her name and will no longer answer to "mom". Other times she'll call and say "I know this sounds awful, but sometimes I just want to scream "STOP NEEDING ME SO MUCH'"
I have responded before that "Mom's not here right now check back later" or "She's gone right now".  It only works the first time then she starts calling me by my first name or hey lady.  Which I have to admit is a nice break from MOM, lol.
I told my kid that she was gonna make my ears bleed.   :S  Another FINE parenting moment.
Nothing much to add except - thanks to you all for my trip down memory lane.  I'm starting my day off with a smile (and a little bit of sadness realizing how fast time goes!).
Memories are a great way to bring on the smiles (and tears).  That's exactly what this will be someday.

Ok, Echo has learned that he can force the doors open if he pounces on it. Unfortunately for me his door of choice is glass. I have worked with him about not doing it, mainly because he has scratched the wood. Well, on Sunday I had been gone for about 35 min when the DD called and said he broke a window pane. :(  He didn't hurt himself at all.

For the past 2+ months we will go outside for potty time, and he just refuses. Sniffing, licking, eating slash, looking for the neighbor dogs, smelling the air etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc.............. And this is after not getting to go potty for 10-12-14 hours! I have waited for over 15 minutes in the pouring rain, high wind advisories, and most recently the 7 inches of snow on May 19th. Why?

Has Echo stopped running into glass?  That would make me nervous.

No, but he has been essentially grounded ever since. Monday and Tuesday were not happy days with the dog.

We have time withour private trainer tomorrow. I intend on letting the trainer know what Echo did over the weekend.
