Cooling Mats from Amazon

Has anyone bought and used a cooling mat for their doodle from Amazon? Hattie is always seeking out the tile floors or marble fireplace to stretch out on tummy down. The mat says you soak in water for 30 minutes and it lasts for days.

My guys like tile floors too.  I know someone who did get a mat and her doodle preferred the cool cement or tile.... Go figure.

I just bought a cooling mat at Walgreens. They are normally $50, but I think I got mine for $40. It's meant for humans but it will work for the dog too. I plan on putting it under the kennel tray so he can keep cool.

I didn't need to soak it in water, it's cool on its own.

I did buy on from Amazon the brand was Canyon Comforts. I haven't tried it yet but I will today and let you know :-)

Interesting! Our doodle lays directly on top of our air vents.
It's been in the 90's here lately and shes black to top it off...so she roasts!
I'll be watching for some update here as well!!!

WOW! I just saw these yesterday and thought oh yeah! My DH said REALLY??? So I would love to hear if they work and also stay dry like they claim!

Jack spreads eagle on my kitchen or bathroom floor whenever we get home from a walk or if we were outside... It is so hot here high 90's so even though we are only out for a few minutes, he and I both roast.

 

I have seen those mats but since my house is kept pretty chilly and it is only when we first come in, I didn't get one, but I have thought about that as well as the cooling collar to wear around his neck.

Last summer I bought a cooling collar for Haley and a cooling bandana for me.  I'm not sure if it gave Haley any relief at all.  As for mine, it was good until it got humid and then it wasn't very effective.

I've seen those too at LTD. Thought it might be nice for the Lake. They are less expensive there.
