Tick Bite?

I was playing with Hudson after our walk tonight and noticed this red mark near his private area.  No sign of a tick at all but it sure looks like a tick bite to me.  So what do I do now???

 

He's not acting any differently at all.  I will call the vet in the morning and see what they suggest.  We were just there on Saturday for his last round of shots (got his last distemper, bordetella and rabies shot).  Could it be related to that?  I asked about the lymes vaccine and if she suggest we get it.  Because of where we live she suggested we do but I was going to wait another month or so before we did it.  Maybe I should do it sooner?

 

So is there anything I should do tonight before calling the vet in the morning?

I took Hudson to the vet today and it's not ringworm!!  She said it is just a fly bite.  Phew!  She said her parents live in our area and their dogs get these all the time.  It will go away in a few days on its own.  She suggested we switch from Frontline to Advantix to better protect him.  I'm so happy to hear that it's not ringworm....now we can start our obedience classes on Saturday.  YAY!!!  Thanks for all your help and advice :)

Amazing.  I would have bet the farm on ringworm!  Glad it was only a fly bite.

I know me too!!  But as soon as she looked at it she knew exactly what it was.  It's actually faded alot today, it's not as red as it was.
