Reverse F1B

I've been told that our new little rescue puppy is a "reverse" F1b.  Mom is a full golden and dad is a goldendoodle.  Does anyone else have a reverse F1b?  I'd love to hear from you and see a picture of your doodle!  I'm guessing that our little guy is going to look more golden than doodle but in his picture he looks pretty doodley to me.

Dori - cancel the puppy from the breeder as we just yesterday have the chance to take a rescue puppy out of Atlanta that really needs us. I'm so excited yet nervous.  What a big change is coming to our house!!!!!  Rooney will have a brother!!!!

I think there might be a group with F1b's where the doodle was backcrossed to a retriever...not positive though. There is at least a group of folks who have what you're getting. Surprisingly some still look doodley and don't shed...but just don't 'expect' that because you never know.

I have a reverse cross doodle! His mum was a F1 goldendoodle and his dad a retriever. He had a wavy coat as a pup but now his coat is straight for the most part with the exception of some curls around the neck, ears, tail and hind legs. He never shed a hair until the day he turned 8 months...I let him out of his crate that morning and the fur started to go everywhere! I couldn't believe it, it literally happened over night and he has been shedding ever since. He just turned 1 two days ago! So I think he will always shed but I still love him sooo much.

I guess my Chloe would be a "reverse then. Her Mother is a F1B goldendoodle (3/4 poodle, 1/4 golden) and Dad is a purebred English Cream Golden Retriever... I have some pics of some of the pups from previous litters of same parents on my page. They are mostly a looser wavy longer hair. All very beautiful.
