We are in Van Nuys for a couple of months on business and in desperate need of a WONDERFUL, CARING Kennel for our Daisy Doodle.  Any info would greatly be appreciated. We will be leaving her for a week and hate the thought.

It is, too me that's not far but I live in the country and have to drive 25 miles to get groceries.

That's the way it is for us also, when we are home.  We live in the country.  It is so hard to leave her but we have our sons engagement party in NY.

Eeek, I hope you find boarding...I know how hard it is to leave your pup behind with people you don't reallllllly "know". However, I'm sure she'll be fine, enjoy your vaca!!

Can't speak for the ones in California, but we used PetSmarts Pet Hotel last time we needed to board our two. We used the one in Pittsburgh. We were there visiting my family. I looked on the website and there are 12 listed for the Los Angles area. They offer various packages. The one we used was really nice and reasonably priced.

I'm in Orange County (sorry, kind of far), and I use Wags and Wiggles. http://www.wagsandwiggles.com/daycare.shtml

They are our trainers, we've been going there since last summer we brought Bodie home. They have doggy day care and also kennel. They are the ONLY ones I would trust with Bodie if we have to leave him with non-family. They have webcams so you can watch them play during the day. I highly recommend them, even if you would have to drive a bit. We've done daycare numerous times, and kenneled twice.
