June Assignment
From the usual small amount of input the consensus goes to photos of scenes at different times of day or with interesting shadows. Of course, manly themes, as was suggested for father's day, can be part of that. But really 99% of us active in this group are women although more male participation is welcomed. As it happens I have an example :) I posted in the garden group about a time lapse garden camera my son had given me.
Here are three photos of the same scene at opposing ends of the day including one somewhat decent exposure mid day. Good thing white flowers jump out of the dark : ) I know we can do much better than this.

I found this picture of my kitty from like seven years ago looking for a picture for my sister. It was my kitty cat, Cha Cha. She has now passed, but seeing this again made me smile.

I have been working so many hours this past month I decided to take the day off and dh and I spent the day on the water. I took my camera, dh took his fishing rods and we had an excellent day. While these photos don't fit the assignment I thought you might enjoy them.
This house is on a private island, not sure how old most likely built in the 50's. The house is totally covered in seashells which you can see in the 2nd photo.

Wow! I've never seen such a thing! lol! That's pretty cool. I would hate to have had the job of cementing them to the wall - haha!

This is a cormorant that was hanging around and diving under the boat and having lunch ;-)

I was photographing this really cool worm but thought the shadows from the plant were interesting. So far this is all I can come up with for this month's assignment.

Must be a catepillar I think but it is fascinating! It looks like Dr. Seuss thought it up. I like the shadows too.
