Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
It's time OHIO. June 24th ( Friday ), Noon, for a doodle romp at Bow Wow Beach in Stow, Ohio.
I know, I know, it is on Friday. So CALL off work. Your doodle is only young once.
The park is very crowded this time of year, but on Friday you have a 5-acre lake almost to yourself.
We already have doodles from Michigan attending again. Let that attest that it is worth the drive to come on down and join in the fun.
Bring a Doodle and a Beach Towel. Dog Showers are provided in the park but if you ask my dogs, they say skip this part.
The Park is Free. You do not need to provide shot records or vaccinations.
There are many hotels located in Stow, Ohio and Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio if anyone is coming into town and would like to stay over night. Kent, Ohio is also another alternative with lots of hotels, although, it is 17 minutes away from the park. This is up to you~~ so you would need to do a search and make these arrangements yourself. If anyone finds a hotel in Stow, Cuyahoga Falls, or Kent who welcomes dogs please post.
I am not in charge of this romp~~ just tired of sitting at home on Stay-Cation this summer and miss seeing all the doodles so I posted this suggestion.
Here is the website to get more information about the park.

I say OF COURSE too. Would love to meet you!!!!
There is a sign outside the park on height restrictions for small children. Similar to Cedar Point, there is a painted stick at the entrance with a warning for small children.
As long as you stay with the child, it should be fine. The concerns are that dogs like to jump on cute little kids, and some dogs get running at a very fast pace playing ball and chase---Kids may get knocked over and seriously hurt themselves.
Kids also tend to smell really good. Like cookies and sweets and the dogs just plow on over to get a treat.
Should be okay if she brings no food into the park and stays close.
Can't wait to meet you.
Wow, Lepto. Never thought of that in this situation. My understanding is that lepto can mostly be found in standing water. This lake is spring fed. I could be wrong. Hope so.
Neither of mine have Lepto vaccinations. Not a common shot in this area.
I've always wanted to meet you ever since Michelle introduced you here on DK. I say, bring your company with you and come on down.
There is always next time. Thanks for letting us know, Lydia
