Summer themed doodle names

My mom is waiting on a puppy and the best guess is that the litter will be born today.  Being that it is the first day of summer, I think it would be cool to give the puppy a "summer" name.  So far, all I can think of are flower names but many of the flower names (eg. Pansy, Petunia, etc) are actually spring flowers, not summer.  We are not sure if the pup will be a boy or girl, the color will probably be blond or red (mom is light red, dad is apricot). 

You DKers have such great ideas, I thought I'd get your opinions.

Flower, Petal, Petuna, Pansy, SnapDragon (perfect for a mouthy puppy!!  ha ha), Zinia, Rannucula (we had a bunny and called her Runkie), Stephanotis (Stephy or Steffy), Willow, Begonia, Agapantha, Jasmine, Morning Glory (Glory), Camellia, Gardenia, Sweetpea (there is a bush..I have some and it is also my name my grandchildren gave ME!), Feather (for Feather Grass), Foxy (for Fox Tails...found only on the West Coast it seems).  You can see that I am taking a virtual stroll through my back yard...ha ha
