What a Fun Weekend, by Jack Daniels.

Finally I got some one on one attention without having to share my mom or grammie with anyone.. First we went on a long car ride to Hilton Head!!!!!!

Ready MOM lets go!!! I have my seat belt on!!!Next stop Hilton Head wooooooooooot woooooooooooooooooooot... (well maybe the rest area since mommy has a bladder the size of a pea)

 

I got to stay in very nice hotel, this time we didn't get a first floor room, so I got to ride in an elevator. I almost got my paw stuck in the gap of the door and the wall but I got it out quick...I jumped on the bed and made myself at home..

 

I loved the elevator until it started to move.. Then I was wondering what was going on.????

We went and did some paper work then I got to play in the DOG PARK AGAIN.. Mom is such a worry wart.... She thinks I am bossy but really I am just being a dog, and everyone said I play so nice even with the big old dogs that could eat me in one half of a bite

These are my new buddies, some of them I met last time... So after a long while off we went, mom said something about dinner but first we had to go shopping, I hate shopping, especially when I have to sit in one of these things.

 

Seriously, my mom knows I know how to heel walk, I mean duh she is the one who taught me how, I have no idea why she got mad at me when I kept jumping out of the cart onto anything I could find.. I am not a baby anymore I am two years old Geeze...

 

She quickly made up for it by taking me out with Grammie to a fancy schmancie restaurant. They even had a menu for dogs, I got served a huge bowl of water and ice, a mat to sit on and I had my choice of dog food. Mom ordered me a local organic dog food called Happy Dog and I ate that with some grilled chicken.. I know I look a little drunk in this next picture but the people next to us were totally dog gone drunk and I think I was breathing in their fumes... I had a great time and stole the attention away from the live band that was playing, everyone wanted to play and pet me, Now I know how the celebrities feel, can't eat a meal in peace!!

Next I got to go back to the hotel and we slept for the night, Woke up in the morning and mom took me right back to the dog park, This time as we went through the security gate, the security guy told us that a copper head snake was just reported to be found in dog park.. Mom embarrassed me by asking if she was on Candid camera, and then proceeded to ask if they also found an alligator in there too.. The guard told me mom, I need to suck it up and learn to live one with nature... Silly guard has no idea what a nut job my mom is with gators and snakes but I am proud of my mom, she took me to the park and we found out that no one saw the snake, he went back into the woods so I played for a long while while mommy put the moves on a guy there.. yup I heard my mom lie about her age, this time she said she was older then she really is... WTD????  My mom told me later it was just a small lie because everyone who lives there is 50 and up..  HEHEHEHE... I like the guys dog she was a doxipoo, sort of cute too.

 

So after a long car ride home, I am pooped, Mom is trying to figure out how to move us to Hilton Head where a dog can be a dog.. and I am going to sleep and dream of the wonderful weekend I had.

I know I am a dirty, sandy mess. But I am content if my mom would PLEASE stop taking my picture and let me sleep. This is my "leave me alone " look

almost as lucky as Jackdoodle!! I was thinking about you on the car ride home and how absolutely lucky JD is to have a mom that makes sure he has the best possible care ever. I was thinking about the extremes you go through to make sure his allergies and skin stay in check, In this throw away society, that is a lucky dog!!

Jack buddy, you're really living the life!  Our weekend was totally boring....we did get to go out for ice cream, but that's nothing like all the adventures you had.

My parents have ice cream every night and give a small portion to the dog too. There are ice creams that are all natural. Not sure this is a good idea for the waistline but probably ok on occasion. :-)

Hi Jack, Daisy here. We had a small doodle romp at our local park on Friday, it was fun meeting Spud, Starlit, Sheba and Duke, oh and their parents too....we were there for 3 hours, really all I cared about was Mom and Dad throwing that ball into the lake so I could swim (Spud and Sheba likes that too). I was so tired, just like you in the last picuture but my Mom made my Dad give me a bath.

Sounds like your weekend was even better! Hope you get to go again soon, if not then you can just keep having your fun where you live now.

Yup that is the done doodle look.. Done for the day, need to go to bed..  Jack is dad less so no one to give him a bath but me and I am not up for it, He is not itchy or scratching so he is going to bed like that..Bad doodle mom I am but I am not feeling on top of the world right now so we will have to make do, unless of course you can send your DH to bath my Jack?? LOL just kidding Glad you had fun today Daisy

Ha Ha. Comparatively speaking Jack Daniels would be done in 15 minutes....Daisy is a hefty 65lbs.

I know put him in my shower, I have a hand held shower head and I make him stand there, No more baths for him, I can't stand cleaning the tub, The shower is so much easier... He really is tiny....He looks like a squirrel with long chicken legs when he is wet, When I get around to showering him I will take some body pictures so you can see.
