I noticed Puddles had a white spot on his nose 2 days ago and noticed another 2 more little white spots today. They are just color spots and are not lumps. His energy is still great and lovable as usual but he did puked one day ago and had running stool this evening.

Of course, trying to check the information online is driving me insane with worries. There are mention of histiocytoma tumors, ringworms, etc. I will try to bring him to see a vet tomorrow. Will be great if someone can provide any advice or have experienced similar symptoms with their doodles.

Puddles could be rubbing his nose on something and scraped it.  Like a crate, plastic dish or even a toy.  Hope it's nothing serious.

Samantha loves to run her nose on everything! including the slate floor on my patio. She has had a spot like that which did go away.

Please keep us posted!!!

My mom's German Shepherd had a bunch of pink/white areas on his nose last summer. We also were frightened by what we found online, and thought it might be Vertiligo, as that can be a GSD problem. It ended up being that he got hold of a Brillo pad and it rubbed some of the black off of his nose!

ouch!
I hope all goes good at the vet-let us know!

Peri has had this on her lip/mouth before.  It was like a papalloma (spelling?) virus that went away after a week or so.  If you are concerned, bring her in.  My bet is that it's the same type of thing Peri had and is no big deal.

papilloma

We went to the vet and took a biopsy. The results will be out next week. The interesting thing is that the spots are flat and not lumpy so there could be several possible causes. Trying not to overworry at this point and will keep everyone posted.

Puddles has been a great sport so far! Other than being totally down from the sedation and the ordeal at the vet, he is happy and fine! Thank you for all the concern!
