Hi.  Buster is 6 months old and still hasn't lost a single puppy tooth.  We're waiting for him to stop chewing on us, on his beds, etc.  Anyone have an idea of when the adult teeth come in?

Hi,

Is Buster a mini or a standard?

By about 6 months Luna had lost all her baby teeth, but she is a GR mixed with a mini poodle.  Smaller dogs tend to mature faster, but I imagine they will start coming out soon.

If you're concerned about it you could always call your vet and ask what the usual age is for a dog of Buster's size.

Owen lost his around 4-5 months and is a standard. I never found any, just saw his big teeth.
Harper is 9 months and has all her adult teeth now.  We only found one tooth ever - the dogs just swallow them i believe.  You will know when the adult teeth are coming in by looking at the size of the teeth.
Molly is 7 months old and has all her adult teeth now.  I actually found most of her puppy teeth because she kept playing with them and I was always checking what she had in her mouth LOL

I can't remember when LiliBear lost all of her teeth, but I do know that it is a process that can go un-noticed.  Has the vet confirmed that those are still puppy teeth?  I just had my hands in a 15 week old goldendoodle's mouth and there were a lot of sharp little teeth and more space then I remember.  I think between his muzzle growing and teeth likely falling out with all of his biting / chewing it can be hard to follow the process.  My Goldendoodle is now 2 and she no longer chews on me, but will have a gentle mouth on my hands when excited.  She was raised with the theory of bite inhibition.

The 15 week old pup will spend part of the weekend with me ... he will be getting a good introduction into bitter apple products... as I want him to discontinue this chomping pattern.   ~Leslie

Six months is about right.  You should notice the teeth becoming larger any time now.  Sometimes it is not even noticeable when they lose their teeth.  You don't have to worry about the tooth fairy with puppies.
