Hi everyone! My little one's name is Mango. (She was a daily puppy this month!) Recently, her leg/knee? has started to click when she runs. Does anyone else's doodle do this?? Should I be worried?

I don't have any thoughts or answers-- hopefully someone will have an idea, but wanted to say good luck.  She's adorable!!
Our Gus had the same thing when he was younger. It happened sometimes when he ran and sometimes when he would get off the couch. We asked our vet about it and she checked him out and couldn't come up with a solid reason. We just kept a eye on it as he grew. Eventually it stopped as he got older. It was so infrequent I can't even remember when it stopped.
It sounds like it my be dislocated or some other injury.  I would take her to the vet and make sure.  If it's injured the more she uses it, the increased risk of doing more damage.  I would limit her activity until you can have it look at.  This is just my opinion though.  I hope she gets better soon.  Keep us updated and good luck.
Sounds a lot like how Gus used to do. He would have minor muscle pulls when he was young when he would be running with the pack at the dogpark or when we would take him to doodle romps. A couple days rest and he'd be back to old self.
For the first few months Camus' (he was ~ 12 months when I adopted him) leg joints made clicking noises that I was concerned about, but his vet said he was fine and not to worry and he was right since the clicking stopped recently.  He is now 22 months and no more joint clicking noises.

If she is a miniature doodle then I would suggest having her Patellas looked at next time you are at the vets. Does not sound like it warrants a trip just for that (no pain, lethargy, limping, unable ot get up) but next time you are there. Its the hind knees and in minis they have a tendency to pop out (can happen in any size dog-just minis are more prone to it). The vet will just manipulate them lightly with his hands to evaluate them. No big deal.

I had no idea about that with minis-our younger one bounces around the house like a cat and I always worry about her no fear attitude. Thanks-we will keep this in mind!!

GOOD LUCK MANGO!!

How is Mango's leg?  Is it the front or rear?

Hi

Glad to hear that Mango doesn't seem to be bothered by it.  My puppy ended up having severe elbow dysplasia that was discovered when she was 6 months old.  She had surgeries and is OK now and has compensated really well for her 'bad leg.'

Hey do you ever go to the Orange Dog Park?  I think there is a Dog Park in Fullerton too.

I'm in Anaheim.

I haven't been to the one in Fullerton.  The dog park in Orange is grass, and most of the time  responsible dog owners are there. I have only been there a few times.  It's not as big as the one in Laguna.  I didn't like the Costa Mesa one either.  The one in Seal Beach is nice.

Love your picture!  Your dog is really cute.  Don't they look like stuffed animals that have come alive?  One of these days I will get around to posting pictures too.

As for the elbow dysplasia, she was limping and favoring her front leg. At first, the vet thought it was "growing" pains.   Her leg turns out to the side too, and she has a funny gait.  But it took three vets to figure out the exact cause. She had to have surgery at a vet specialty place, and then had to do physical therapy.  She's mostly fine now, but we have to limit her exercise, and no rough playing.
