After Dakota realized that water wasn't really something to be petrified of, he went for it with gusto! Here are so old, but favorite water pics!

This is shortly Dakpota decided water was ok after all . . . I call it "GULP" -- looks like a floating mop that just git two lungs full of water!
Dakota will "stalk" the ball anywhere -- even in the water!

And for anyone that though his last mud pictures were disgusting--try this one! (The happy news is, he does have clean water to stick that muddy fac in before he heads home!!

I shot these using the Sports Mode and was pleasantly surprised at how the water droplets "froze".  Banjo's new passion is the sprinkler!

Great shots Carol!  I'm using a point and shoot and have been really disappointed with my action shots.  Considering going back to SLR (had film SLR before going digital point and shoot).  What camera are you using?  Thanks! Jess

Thanks Jess,   I have a Canon T1i - I love it....although I still have a lot to learn with it.  I get lazy and tend to use the auto settings more often than not.

Thanks for sharing Carol.  I read through the equipment threads and have been looking at Canon's.  Pippin was swimming today and most of the shots were too blurry to rescue, even on the sports setting.  I took tons of pics with various settings and not great results.  :(  I love taking pics (and then scrapbooking them) and I really think it's time to go back to SLR (not that I was an expert or anything, but the quality of shots was so much better).  Now, to save some pennies!

those are really cool. I have a hard time getting action shots with my camera. I mostly just luck out every once in a while. These are great shots!
