I just would like to warn new puppy owners to check their puppies mouth and gums,
My girl is mouthy with her toys, and I've found twice now wads of fabric/hair wrapped, wound around her teeth and gums.
The first lot was wound tight and found it when I rubbed her gums and felt the difference.
The second was not so tight but defenatly difficult to remove.
I had to get nail scissors to cut it off her baby teeth.
I have started to regally check her mouth as a vet would so she is used to people probing and prodding.
Thanks for sharing this. Clover gets pieces of wood, string and even grass stuck between her teeth sometimes. I've had to use tweezers to get the slivers out. IMO checking their teeth needs to be done even as adults. Clover is 16 months now and still has problems.
I regularly open Rileys mouth and rub on doggy toothpaste which he likes. It's an opportunity to check the teeth at the same time. Thanks for sharing this.
