I think my favorite was when Alan Shore had a seemingly impossible court case, and Denny told him he would need to pull a rabbit out of a hat. The Rev. Al Sharpton showed up in court and saved Alan's a$$ with some of his fancy double-talk. Then as he walked out, he leaned over and said to Alan "That's what you call a rabbit, son. Denny Crane."
Classic.
I loved that show it was so funny. I cannot think of one Denny Crane scene I didn't like. Lots of endings with smoking cigars on the balacony.
Harry's Law is on right NOW. On NBC :)
Harry's Law and Boston Legal are from the same creators. We were hoping for more of the same. Certainly, they cut down costs again there too. But they did get one gem--yes, Kathy Bates is always very good.
We have DirecTV DVR where we can tape two shows at once or watch one and tape one. I love being able to fast forward thru commercials. The only time I like watching commercials is during the Super Bowl. We also have Netflix and Roku for movies.
Depending on the topic I like watching 60 minutes, Dateline and 48 Hours.
Some of my favorite shows on local channels are Brothers & Sisters, Parenthood, Hawaii Five O (for the scenery).
Other shows I watch are Army Wives, Sons of Anarchy, Dexter, United States of Tara, Weeds, Big C and Nurse Jackie
I have never watched Modern Family. What type of show is it?
Modern Family is the best on air right now. Though I still do love my The Office.
Best all time show is Pushing Daisies. Got cut short after 2 seasons, because of the Writer's Strike. Highly, HIGHLY recommended. Great acting, quick and witty dialogue, amazing beautiful "cartoon like" colors and visuals, quirky humor filled with puns and alliteration, and an incredibly unique plot device. Episodes are parallel and similar in ways to the way CSI/Law and Order episodes work with a new "case" for each one, with some carry over. Kristen Chenowith (sp?) is one of the main 4 characters, and every couple of episodes there's a song or two. Check it out on Netflix. (caviate - the show may not be for everyone, but if you like quirky humor give it a shot!)
Animal Planet has a new series starting Aug 7th called Hillbilly Hand Fishing. They fish with their bare hands and feet for catfish. It made me laugh watching the preview, but then again I'm alittle warped. Here is a link to the preview.

There is no way that I would even consider this, but may watch to see how stewpid it is.
