Bergan car harness opinions please.

I'm curious what you think of this system.  The one I'm using now is the American tourister harness, but it is so bulky and i'm sure hot.  I've also looked at the comfort ride travelin harness, but really like the tether that comes with the Bergan (not a fan of the tether that looks like a buckle.  Harley would step on it and unbuckle himself).  Seems this type of tether would give him the most freedom.  I appreciate all you guys sooooo much!  ;-)

This does not seem to be the Colorado company that has had previous customer service issues. My order came in about a week.

This is Harley with what he has now.  The tether is as long as it will go, and the pic is a little deceiving regarding his size.  He is 6 mo today and weighs 60lbs.  He will not size up in the harness until he hits 90lbs. THe pic of the hammock shows how much room Harley can have and still be harnessed. 

Hope I'm making sense of all this. lol  I"m just tired of buying stuff to find out it doesn't work as planned.

We have the Bergan you show and have been very happy with it.  Looks similar to what you already have.

I think the 2nd one is a lot nicer, I believe they sell this at Petco also. What's differnt between the one you have and the 2nd option? I've been looking for the correct ones also.

the one he wears now is thick and bulky on his back.  there is a flap that velcros down to the bottom piece with the clips in between.  the loops that the tether connects to come through a opening in the top flap.  I can't tell if the bergan has the same type of closer on the back.
