What rhymes with tick or limerick redux, or what to do rather than your work on a hot afternoon.

You've got to be quick

if your dog gets a tick

Remove it right now

Or gee holy cow

It might embed on his d...

It could then enlarge

and lead to discharge

It'd be a big pain

How would you explain

Who knows what the vet would charge?

Come on add your limericks. Thanks J for the inspiration.

I just tried for about 20 minutes and couldn't get the last line of my first stanza to rhyme right.

I once saw a tick

In a coat dense and thick

The tick had dug in, sucked blood to his chin

It then found a warm spot and gorged on the lot.

I know ticks are gross

so now here's my boast.

When ticks take a hold

Just do what you're told.

And whip it right out

With one very loud shout.

A pretty miserable effort on my part but I'm a sucker for a challenge!!!

Great.
Love it.
Lauricki.....OH LAURICKI!... Where are YOU?  This post is calling your name (s)!  lol

I've never seen a yucky tick,

I never hope to see one,

but I can tell you anyway,

I'd rather see than be one.

We don't have ticks where we live,

my plagerism you must forgive,

my brain is on holiday and that my reason,

I can't think of rhymes that would be pleasin.

Can you believe I just wrote this exact same limerick, and came here to post it, only to find that Donna had somehow hacked into my computer and beat me to it?

Anyway, she said what i was gonna say, lol.

And a good one too.
Consider yourself lucky, Donna.  Ticks are disgusting.
Do the limericks have to be about ticks?
Not at all. Joanne mistyped that her dog had a d... rather than a tick, and that got me rolling.

you think she mistyped????? really F?? J mistype???
