It is DH's and my 7th anniversary today. Planned on going out to dinner but I hate to leave Rua. I would really love to take her but the restaurants I called have these stupid rules about dogs. Heck, I was just wanting to sit outside on the patio, but the few that allow it, you have to tie your dog up on the other side of the fence. And that just isn't going to happen
I feel bad leaving her by herself...but I deserve a dinner out, right? Oh, if we stay home, I have to go grocery shopping and do the cooking.

UPDATE:
The response was overwhelmingly in favor of going out. So we did. We went to a nice little Italian restaurant...I had black fettuccine with lobster in a cream sauce. We shared a bottle of Chateau St. Jean Chardonnay, and split tiramisu for dessert. We left the house at 5:45 and were back a little after 7:30...we didn't linger. Momma missed her baby. My DH left her out of the kennel and she bolted out of the bedroom to find me. He is disappointed that she always runs to find me and not him. He just doesn't get she is her Momma's girl. I am so glad, though, that he just loves her to pieces and isn't jealous of all the time I spend with her and on DK!
I am SOOOO full right now.

Tina, that is so sweet of you! And ditto...I do love to cook, but every now and then, I like to be served
Just got back...Ordered a nice bottle! It was $110 with tip! :-)
Oh..the wine wasn't $110 w/tip...the entire dinner and wine was $110 w/tip! I have no idea how much the wine was...DH ordered I. I am guessing $30 or so? It was Chateau St. Jean Chardonnay!
Happy Anniversary and bring home a doggy bag!
That is a great picture, Barb. The health department in Omaha must be pretty tough...the end of April, Rua and I went to a hotel's convention center for Dining with Dogs. Can't figure out why they allowed that (we were inside, for goodness sake) and restaurants won't let me sit on the patio with Rua.
