Just curious, how tall is everyone's doodle? Noah is 7 months and is 17" tall.... I'm pretty sure his legs are finished growing. Noah is about 23lbs.

Update at almost 1 year, Peri is still 16" tall and 25 pounds. Just fillin' out....
Do you measure them to the shoulders? If so, my Cooper is only about 11-12 inches and weighs 16.5 lbs @ 18 weeks. I am wondering if he will get a bit more height.
He is is probably going to grow for a while. The little ones often quit growing at 8 or 9 months.
My new doodle, Clancy, is only 19" tall but weighs 55 pounds! This guy has a very large head and chest and really, short stocky legs.
What exactly is the cutoff? Depending on where I read, it's 18-21 or 22 inches. I have a potential breeding male - I guess this question would be for breeders out there - and at 8 months he's standing 19". I believe he falls squarely in medium but according to some sources, he would be standard. And is also seems, according to Rutland Manor, that medium may only be a designated size during development of the breed. Info anyone?
Pippin is 6 months.  He is 19" at the shoulder and 28 pounds.  Mom was 19" goldendoodle, dad was 15" mini poodle.  Breeder estimates that he should settle out at around 35 pounds

Luna is an F1 mini GD and is 19" high at the shoulder and 35-37 pounds. Mom was a small golden retriever (probably about 50-60 pounds) and dad was a mini poodle (20 pounds).

She is done growing and we think she is the perfect size for us!

Sadie is 6 months old and weighs about 12.2 pounds (give or take) I'd say she is about 14" tall at her shoulders. How big do you think she will get? Breeder didnt' think she'd be more than 20lbs. Her dad was a medium poodle and her mom an english (white) golden retreiver.  Glad to report she doesnt shed!!!

I would say your breeder is probably right, Luna is a standard GR x mini poodle cross, and she topped out at around 37 pounds.  At 6 months she weighed 25 pounds - double your girl!

Going by Luna's growth pattern, Sadie would top out between 18-20 pounds.

I have a standard and two smaller ones. They both weigh 63 and 65 pounds and I just measured them from floor to shoulders at 24 inches and Shea my big one at 28 inches from floor to shoulders he weighs 78 pounds. D o I have Mediums  and are they tubbies? Both the little girls are solid little rocks. My vet doesn't want Shea to get any bigger because of hip problems.

:

Lynette, some of the weight depends upon build.  If the dog is more retriever in build they are going to be a heavier dog than one with a more poodle-like build.  Clancy is our rescue but he is only 17" tall yet weighs 64 pounds.  He is not fat, but he has a really big structure with short sturdy legs.  Is Shea overweight according to the vet?
