For some reason I have total puppy brain and I just can't remember what a good balance is. I believe that Molly is a happy puppy. She is so good. She goes in her crate at 9 30 at night and sleep until  6 30 in the morning without a peep. We also crate her for about an hour or two in the afternoon just for a nap. Truth be told I am napping then as well.

She plays wonderfully in her playpen that has a ton of chew toys and safe things in it, It is in the middle of my living room so when we are on the sofa she can see us, be with us but she has a shower curtain with a blanket under her in the event she potties, She has not pottied in there yet but we do leave her in there for an hour or so at a time.

In the morning my mom gets her around 6 30, she goes potty, eats, goes potty and plays in the gated kitchen sleeping at my mom's feet on and off.

Jack is usually with me in bed or we are with the baby.. We make sure they have a lot of separate time because Jack is not feeling his best and Molly likes to rid Jack like he is superman and she is the cape, she likes to hold on to his ears.. She is so sassy.

I guess now that I write it out, I think she is doing good, I would imagine if we were not exercising her enough she would not be sleeping through the night. We have them run around the back yard and play for about an hour before bed and also throughout the day.

I have done some sit and down with her, she is very treat motivated.

Do you think I can do anything else to help make it easy for Molly to go home with my mom in a little less then two months?  They are bonding great, she seems satisfied, except Jack has scared her to the point of a high pitch scream twice already... but she is right back in his face two minutes later.

Anything I am missing?  We have slowly started switching her to Orijen puppy, she prefers the fish and potatoes to the Orijen but she also poops about six times a day on it.  We just started adding a little of the Orijen as she has not been home for more then a week and half.. Her poops are huge on the fish and potatoe food.

Here is my mom holding her on my mom's 70th birthday.

awww....she already has her own wardobe after only a couple of weeks.  Well on her way to being a perfectly spoiled lil doodle girl!!

I would say that as long as she is getting play time, you are doing some training with her, and she is getting a chance to just experience different things she is getting enough stimulation/exercise, especially since she is sleeping through the night.  My breeder gave us a a paper on the "Puppy Rule of 12" (just google it), but it basically discusses all of the different things that a puppy should experience when they are young to make sure that they can handle different types of situations when they are older.

Happy BD to your Mom. Sounds like you are all doing great. There really are no rules. Relax.
Sounds good to me if she's sleeping. She seems very smart! So cute too!
