Just finished "Luckiest Man, the Life and Death of Lou Gehrig". Very inspirational story about a truly exceptional man. I even learned a few things about baseball to boot! Great book.
Yes, I liked both the book and the movie. My mother even enjoyed the movie and it was kind of a long time for her to sit in a movie theater. I think I liked the way the movie ended better than the ending to the book.
Finished "One Summer" by David Baldacci. Very good, hard to put down. Finished it in 24 hours. Now reading, Life Without Summer by Lynne Griffin. I went to Borders since they are closing and bought 10 books at 50% off. Have 4 more ordered at Amazon, through DK.
I know, it was very sad but a real interesting book. I knew some of the things that went on in France then but not anything about that. I'd like to see the movie.
