My Tucker is 14 weeks old now.I have been giving his nails a little trim every week since the week I got him.Tonight I decided to do a little trim and file.....he actually laid on his back while I clipped them and them smoothed them with a file...I did all 4 paws with no struggle.I am so proud of my little man:)

we have a home in florida and it is nice in the winter but humid and hot in the summer..lol

Good luck Melody.....I hope it goes well for you:) He isnt going to be perfectly fine with it....they dont like their feet fiddled with....but even when you are just laying with him touch his paws and put your fingers between the pads.This will help him get used to it.

You will see a vein in the nail...try and clip close to it without getting the vein itself or it will bleed and puppy wont like it too much.
