I Miss My Doodle (and My Husband!)

Brinkley and my DH are gone for a month.  It is way too quiet in this house.  I should be basking in the fact that that I don't have to take Brinkley out for a month... but man, I miss those two!

I'm with everyone else, that is a long time to live without your doodle. Don't listen to Ricki though, she is always telling everyone to "go and get another" note that she only has one doodle! I think she is trying to live vicariously through others with more than one Dood. Ha ha. (me too).

Brinkley turns 2 in November... and it still hasn't been long enough for a cute doodle puppy face to make me forget the immense workload and sleepless nights of puppyhood.  We thought we were well prepared but NOTHING could have prepared us for the first couple months with Brinkley.  He hated sleeping alone; it took him until he was 4 of 5 months before he'd go into his crate without a fight (and he still would hang his head low).  I'm not ready for it just yet! lol!

Well, thanks to a suggestion from a fellow DoodleKisser (ha, that sounds funny!) I downloaded Skype so I can SEE both of them!  It's amazing!! When Brinkley hears my voice on Skype he goes behind the computer looking for me.
