LiliBear was just shaved down and apparently had small mats between her toe pads.  Her feet are now hot, sore and irritated.  I have put neosporin on her paws along with paw cream.  I'm wondering what else I should be doing for her paws?  Suggestions ?

Thanks, Leslie and LiliBear!

I would try some Aloe Vera Gel. They put that and colloidal oatmeal into skin soothing dog conditioners. When my kids get sunburnt I use it. Works great, cooling and soothing.

If the skin is infected, I would use a neotopic cream to kill off the fungus or bacteria.

Bathing the feet in cooling water made with chamomile tea bags is another idea.

Good luck.

Thank you Kirsy & Jasper for your suggestions.  I have chamomile tea in the house so ... I  will give that a try and work on gather the other items.  She seems much happier this evening, but still sore.

Thanks!  ~Leslie

Chester had a bit of an issue with his paws.

He was diagnosed with Moist Interdigital Dermatitis

He was biting at them and they were pretty red. The Vet suggested that we soak them in epsom salts. We also ended up  with an Rx for fucidin ointment.

Thanks for your reply / posting.  ~Leslie
