What is the best way to respond to comments, discussions, etc...? How do I know the other person received my reply?

You never know if the person read/received your reply but if you click 'reply' (or whatever the button happens to be) and you can SEE your own response has posted here on DK then you did it correctly.  In discussions you do want to click reply UNDER the comment you are responding to so it makes sense what you are replying to (vs replying at the top of the discussion under the original post).)
