Can anyone suggest insurers who are happy to cover dogs during transportation from Australia to UK.
Also, I would be interested to know if there are any associations/bodies I could/should be joining in the UK, as I wish to start breeding next year.
Any advice or comments would be appreciated.

Earlier in the year my Mum was thinking about buying a dog from my breeder and flying it from Canada to the UK. (In the end she bought from the UK though). My breeder recommended a fantastic company called animal travel. They told us everything we needed to know re shots, quarantine, etc etc. ruthy@animaltravel.com
I don't know think they would be directly relevant to you, but the point is, if your breeder has flown dogs internationally before, she should know who to contact and what to do. Alternatively, there are many breeders on the DK pages who fly dogs internationally. They might be able to help. Try Ruthy - maybe she could recommend an Australian/UK equivalent company. Good luck.
thanks alot Jessica, that was very useful, shall try contacting Ruthy.
